CPR stands for Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, a skill that can help extend someone's life in an emergency situation. I teach AHA classes which brings evidence-based practice and instruction directly into the comfort of your own home. Classes cover Adult, Child and Infant CPR, Heimlich Maneuver and Infant Choking. To ensure small class size and individualized instruction, classes are capped at 8 people. Included in the price of class is the AHA textbook, quick reference guide and mask for skills practice.

Refresher courses for clients are complimentary after taking CPR through Pediatric Peace of Mind.

INfant massage

Infant Massage classes are held privately individually or in a group setting. Babies 2 months and up attend class with parents and caregivers and instruction is hands-on. Included in the class fee is Vimala McClure's seminal book Infant Massage, organic cold-pressed sunflower oil and companion workbook for strokes and additional resources.

Stay tuned for more information! Classes will begin in Spring 2017.

Most nursing and medical schools do not cover breastfeeding with nearly the scope or breadth needed to assist women and families with this physiological process designed to nourish a newborn. 21st century America is unfortunately not a culture where breastfeeding is normative. As a result, the process of breastfeeding can be frustrating even when things are going right. Breastfeeding can be instinctual for baby, but it certainly is not that way for mom.

Home visits are the best way to access how new moms are adjusting and adapting to the new task of breastfeeding. Sessions vary in price due to frequency and time spent during the consults. Email me for details and with any questions about lactation!

Individual, Group or Partner Classes

Classes are welcome to all skill levels and women in all trimesters, providing that they are cleared by their health care provider.

Documentation of clearance is needed before scheduling classes.

All classes have the following components:

-- centering and breath work

-- asanas (poses)

-- meditation

-- savasana

Classes are customized for the mama-to-be and can incorporate a partner if desired. Yoga is a powerful way to prepare for labor and beyond.

Namaste, Om Shanti.

"peace. it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart."
